Tickets are now on sale for our annual production, this year it's My Fair Lady! Send us an email if you'd like to buy some, or talk to any members of the choir. We're really looking forward to the production this year, and hope that you all are too!

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our 'Opera, Stage and Screen' concert on Saturday. We had an absolutely massive audience turn out, which was great to see, despite all the cold weather! We hope you'll all be joining us again at concerts throughout the year.

Well, it's 2010 already, doesn't time fly? Our first concert of the new year is 'Opera, Stage and Screen' at Central Methodist Church, Dudley. Featuring favourites from operas, theatre and films, this promises to be an evening of excellent music!

A reminder to everyone out there about the upcoming "70 Years On" concert on Saturday 17th October at Central Methodist. Featuring music from the 1930s and 1940s we're expecting this to be a popular concert, so if you'd like to book your tickets in advance don't forget you can drop us a line on tickets@summerhillchoralsociety.co.uk to do so.

Our 15th Anniversary concert went very well on Saturday, with our new booklet and compilation CD being recieved very well. The narration of the concert, a history of the choir, was presented by none other than our very own Andrew Biggs. From amusing anecdotes to fond memories, the trip down memory lane was great entertainment for all, punctuated of course by songs from the choir.

The concert set us up well for the rest of the year; we're all looking forward to our 15th anniversary concert season!

Well, as you've probably noticed, we have a new website! Launched in conjuction with our 15 Series year, hopefully our new website should be your font of all knowledge for all things relating to the choral society.

We're all looking forward to our 09/10 season, with all the 15 Series concerts that we have coming up. From Sinatra to Choral Evensong, from Opera to music of the 30s and 40s there's something for everyone, so we hope to see you at plenty of concerts this year!
